SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to a single vehicle crash that left two men seriously injured Wednesday morning.
Police say they are currently on scene of a single vehicle crash that occurred around 10:31 a.m., on Portsmouth Boulevard eastbound, just before Route 58 goes into six lanes.
Crews extricated two men from the vehicle to treat them for serious injuries.
Police say that one man, identified as 47-year-old Norfolk man Marvin Covington Jr., died from his injuries while at the hospital.
The second man involved remains in the hospital, seriously injured.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, but say the crash could potentially be due to a hit-and-run.
