VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Crews responded to a townhouse fire in the 900 block of Westwind Place located in the Oak Spring section of the city.
Reports say Engine 18 arrived on scene around 8:30 p.m., and reported heavy fire showing from the front window and began an exterior attack.
After a short time, crews say they knocked the bulk of the fire down and transitioned to an interior attack as other crews began searching for victims. The fire was marked under control at 8:39 p.m. and marked out at 9:05 a.m.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported Two occupants have been displaced.
The cause is under investigation and there are no further details to release at time.
