Two residents and pet displaced after Virginia Beach fire

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Crews responded to a fire Monday afternoon in Virginia Beach.

Around 11:15 a.m., the Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a reported house fire on the 1400 block of Rylands Road in the Lakeview Park area.

Units arrived and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure. Two residents and their pet have been displaced, according to officials.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The fire is under investigated by the Virginia Beach Fire Marshal’s office.
