Former Norfolk professional fighter turns himself in after being wanted on aggravated assault warrant

NORFOLK, Va. - U.S. Marshals and the Norfolk Police Department were searching for a former professional fighter wanted for allegedly strangling a woman he knew last month.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Brian "The Lion" Collette, 32, has an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated assault for an incident that happened in Norfolk January 28.

On February 23, Collette turned himself into the Norfolk Police Department and was taken into custody.

A release by the U.S. Marshals said that Collette is known to frequent martial arts gyms in the Norfolk area.
