Virginia Beach police trying to identify 7-Eleven robbery suspect

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police in Virginia Beach need help identifying a man who they say robbed a 7-Eleven.

Police have released these surveillance images of the person they're looking for.

According to police, around 4 a.m. on October 13, the suspect went into the 7-Eleven on Kellam Road and asked to buy cigarettes.

While the clerk was getting them, police say the man pulled a fixed blade knife from his jacket and demanded the cash from the register.

Police describe him as a white man, 5'7" to 5'9" with a slender build.
