NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Police Department has a suspect in custody after a female victim was shot in the 9500 block of 17th Bay Street Saturday night.
According to the department, the call came in at 10:15 p.m. for the shooting. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Police have not identified the suspect or released a list of charges.
