Virginia Beach Police investigate shooting that leaves 1 man dead, 1 man injured

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another man injured Sunday evening.

Police responded to a shooting around 7:38 p.m., in the 4300 block of Pleasant Valley Road.

One man, identified as 28-year-old Breyon Terrell Cook, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Another man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating and asks anyone with information to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. You can also submit a tip online. Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
