VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Sunday evening.
Police say they received a call for a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Standard Lane.
When officers arrived they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
20-year-old Uriel Tsedeeque Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Police say that there was an altercation between the victim and another individual in the 100 block of Price Street that resulted in shooting.
The other involved person stayed on scene and was detained for questioning.
No charges have been filed at this time and police are still investigating.
