The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving coronavirus cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 77,430 total cases, 74,490 of which are confirmed and 2,940 are probable. There are 2,027 total coronavirus related deaths, with 1,923 being confirmed and 104 being probable. The case numbers are up by 1,057, and deaths are up by 2 since Saturday.
A total of 904,423 people in Virginia have now been tested.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Sunday, there are 733 people currently being hospitalized for coronavirus. There are 453 people currently receiving inpatient hospital care whose test results are pending. 249 confirmed positive patients, and those whose test results are pending, are currently hospitalized in the ICU.
127 hospital patients, both confirmed for coronavirus, and those with test results pending, are currently on a ventilator. 586 ventilators are being used in hospitals out of the 2,983 in the state - that's 20% usage.
10,017 patients who have been hospitalized for coronavirus have been discharged.
