ROANOKE Co., Va. - The AMBER Alert for three Roanoke County children who were said to have been abducted Tuesday afternoon has been canceled.

Virginia State Police announced Wednesday that the children were safely located. State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued the alert on behalf of the Roanoke County Police Department after they were abducted around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The children - 6-year-old Cameron Allison; 6-year-old Emma Allison and 21-month-old Colin Allison - were believed to be in extreme danger and were last seen in Roanoke County.

They were believed to have been abducted by John Varion Allison, who is now in custody, State Police say.

The children were believed to be with John's wife, Ruby Allison. The family's four-door 2006 Cadillac has been recovered, and State Police say Ruby is also now in custody.

Ruby Allison is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

There is no further information at this time.
