NORFOLK, Va. - The Virginia Zoo is officially selling tickets online to prepare for its June 25 reopening date.
Visitors are now able to order tickets online and members can make reservations. Onsite ticket sales will not be available.
The Virginia Zoo will have a soft opening for members only from June 22 to June 24.
To ensure no overcrowding, the Zoo has limited capacity and rolled out timed ticketing, which even applies to Zoo members.
Reservations are available beginning at 10 a.m., with the last reservation at 3 p.m.
The Zoo will be open to the public and its members, Thursday to Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesdays will be set aside for Zoo Members only. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance.
