NORFOLK, Va. — Due to concerns over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Waterside District in Downtown Norfolk announced Tuesday it will be closed until further notice.
The decision was made in response to guidance made by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam. On March 12, Gov. Northam declared a state of emergency in Virginia.
Over the weekend, gatherings of more than 100 people have been banned statewide.
