Williamsburg offers curbside voting services for general election

Williamsburg, VA – The general election for Williamsburg City Council is set for May 5, however with the closures of all city buildings due to coronavirus, curbside ballot services will be provided.

City’s Office of Elections is providing curbside service during regular office hours, to assist with voter registration and absentee ballots.

Voters are to park in the Municipal Building parking lot located at 401 Lafayette St. Williamsburg, VA 23185 and call the office at (757) 220-6157.

A staff member will come out to assist at voters vehicles.

The deadline to register for the May 5 general election is April 13. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m. April 28th.

City residents can also register to vote, update voter registration information, or request an absentee ballot online

Due to coronavirus, anyone can request an absentee ballot by using "My disability or illness" under the section "Choose an Absentee Ballot Reason."
