WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - A 53-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday night has been found safe.
Williamsburg Police say officers with the Newport News Police Department found Timothy Perry in their jurisdiction Thursday afternoon.
Police in Williamsburg said one of Perry's family members reported him missing at 11 p.m. Wednesday. They said the previous day, Perry arranged transportation to Newport News for an unknown doctor's appointment and never returned home.
Police said Perry is disabled and wheelchair-bound. He suffers from muscular dystrophy, lung disease, respiratory failure, asthma, hypertension and general weakness.
