WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Police were investigating after a hand grenade, which was found to be a squeaky toy, was found in the parking lot of a shopping center in Williamsburg.
The toy grenade was found at Midtown Row on Monticello Avenue on the Earth Fare side.
Businesses were evacuated while emergency officials investigated the scene.
Authorities asked people to avoid the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
