PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police are investigating after a woman was shot Sunday afternoon.
The shooting took place near the 1800 block of Effingham Street, around 2:26 p.m.
According to police, a woman sustained a non-life-threatening injury. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
