PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Detectives are investigating an incident that left one woman injured on Tuesday.
Around 10:30 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center was notified of a domestic-related argument that turned into a gunshot wound incident at the 2700 block of Ash Street.
Police said the female sustained a non-life-threatening injury to her upper body and was taken to a local hospital.
A suspect was arrested and charges are pending, according to police.
