HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a woman with non life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the shooting took place in the 1700 block of W. Pembroke Ave.
Police recieved a call in reference to the shooting around 10:24 p.m.. Officers located an injured 29-year-old woman who had been shot.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the woman was driving on Rosalee Drive near Celey Street when she was shot by someone in a passing vehicle.
She is now at a local hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
