NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Newport News Police are investigating after a woman was shot while in the 500 block of Randolph Road Friday night.
The call came in just before 9 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment for an injury that is possibly life-threatening.
There is no further information.
This shooting is still under investigation.
