YORK CO., Va. — A York County man has died at the hospital Wednesday morning from injuries he sustained during a crash Tuesday night.
Virginia State Police say the single-vehicle crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on Waterview Road east of Hornsbyville Road in York County.
Authorities say 31-year-old Andrew Joseph Forrest was driving in the westbound lanes of Waterview Road on a 2007 Harley Davidson when he ran off the road and landed in a ditch.
Forrest was taken to the Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital, where he later died. His family members have been notified of his death.
State Police say neither alcohol nor speed played a role in the crash.
