HAMPTON, Va. - A local seafood restaurant is committed to bringing everyone quality meals during the pandemic.

Got Fish? Seafood is located in Hampton off of Town Center Way. The restaurant is open Tuesday-Saturday and is serving up the seafood favorites they’re known for, like shrimp, crabcakes and crabby fries.

The restaurant had been operating as a food truck since September 2017 and made the switch to a full-time restaurant in early February, right before COVID-19 hit. After only a few weeks of great business, they were forced to make a lot of changes to keep their doors open.

Owner Anticius Bartley Jr. spoke with News 3 about being open during the pandemic and how they’re making sure their food service is safe for everyone involved.

"We went from a food truck being in the street to being inside and having this beautiful dining room we can't really utilize, so that was a little bit of a letdown, but we switched it up,” Bartley told us.

Despite the hurdle, Bartley said they’re grateful that the community has their back during such a difficult time.

"We're the reason why they're here; they still come in and support us regularly. We still have people come in from across the water and drive in to Hampton to visit us on a weekly basis, so we're super proud of that and grateful,” he said.

Got Fish? Seafood offers curbside service, so customers can go to their website and place their orders. They’ll receive a text alert when their order is ready.
