VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A ten-day scavenger hunt ended Saturday with its finish line at the Farmer's Market in Virginia Beach.

The Quest for Goodevent is a ten-day independent hunt throughout Hampton Roads that began May 11 and ended with a winners circle celebration Saturday.

The event is held by the Rotary Club of Hampton Roads and this year was the ninth year that they have held the hunt.

Teams were able to register online or in-person for $20 per automobile or motorcycle or armchair team.

The hunt was played digitally on an app with hidden clues and challenges all throughout the Hampton Roads area. Challenges included finding a library and taking a picture of donating or checking out a book.

Participants met at Virginia Beach Farmer's Market Saturday where winners of the scavenger hunt received trophies and the sponsors were recognized.

According to the Rotary Club of Hampton Roads, the hunt is organized to benefit the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. This year, the funds raised will provide the Foodbank with 16,500 meals.
