Hampton Roads Workforce council hosting virtual workshops for job seekers impacted by pandemic

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Has the coronavirus pandemic impacted your job? One local career organization is here to help.

The Hampton Roads Workforce Council has launched a series of virtual workshops to continue providing services to job seekers amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The workshops launched in April and will continue throughout the month of May. They will focus on a range of topics including, but not limited to:

  • Resume building
  • Marketing your resume
  • Job searh strategies
  • Career coaching
  • Tutoring
  • Interview techniques and more

Each workshop will allow participants to interact with a staff member and learn helpful tips.

The different workshops target job seekers, youth and young adults ages 16-24 and veterans.

Anyone who is interested in participating in a workshop is encouraged to register.

Workshops will be posted on the events calendar on the Hampton Roads Workforce Council's website.
