McDonald's announces their appreciation for all healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics by offering a free thank you meal.

The thank you meals will be offered from April 22 until May 5 as a token of appreciation for their selfless service during the pandemic.

Each meal will be available at no charge via drive thru or carry out at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The meals will feature a choice of sandwiches, drinks, and a side featuring small world famous fries or a hash brown, along with a note of appreciation.

Meals will even be served in McDonald’s iconic Happy Meal box.

Healthcare workers and first responders can obtain their free meal by simply showing their work badges.

Meal options include:

• A choice of an Egg McMuffin®, Chicken McGriddles® or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a hash brown.

Lunch and Dinner
• A choice of a Double Cheeseburger, 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets® or a Filet-O-Fish® will be offered. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.

“As local business owners, we know that our communities need us now more than ever and we’re committed to continuing to serve them,” said Mike Custer, local Hampton Roads Owner/Operator. “We are proud to be able support our neighbors who are on the frontlines as first responders and healthcare workers with Thank You Meals.”
