VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Hospitality Worker Relief Fund has been created to help hospitality industry workers experiencing hardship in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

PingPongGIVES Charity Foundation will be granting Food Lion grocery store shopping sprees to hospitality industry employees who have been impacted by COVID-19, and are experiencing the challenges of panic, anxiety, stress, depression and other mental pressures that come with loss of employment and income.

The charity plans to select a minimum of 30 individuals or families who need it the most, and provide each with a $100 Food Lion shopping spree.

The application is intended to help the selection committee understand the depth of complications being faced by those met with unemployment and job loss.

All applications will be considered and verified for legitimacy, and those indicating greatest needs and opportunities to help will be selected.
