GREENSBORO, NC - For the second time this season, Dazz Newsome has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Receiver of the Week.
The Hampton High School alumnus finished with 10 receptions for a career-high 189 receiving yards and equaled a career best with two receiving touchdowns in Saturday’s 59-53 victory over Wake Forest. His scoring receptions covered 75 and 44 yards.
For the season, Newsome has 34 receptions for 455 yards and four touchdowns for the 6-and-2 Tar Heels.
