VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain begins her efforts to raise funds to fight the #1 and #5 killers, heart disease and stroke.
Leading up to the Hampton Roads Heart Walk Digital Experience on Saturday, November 14th, you can join Megan's team and hike Hampton Roads with her.
This week, she explores Stumpy Lake Natural Area in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
According to the park's website, the 1,422-acre location features a 278-acre lake, 174-acre golf course, a canoe/kayak launch and 1.65 miles of soft shared-use trails.
