Norfolk State will allow fans at home basketball games

NORFOLK, Va. (NSUSpartans.com) – Norfolk State is planning to admit fans to its home basketball games at Echols Hall in a significantly reduced capacity during the 2020-21 season. The seating plan will follow the state guidelines and providing social distance between groups of ticket buyers.

All seats will be sold on a reserved basis. The season ticket package for eight MEAC doubleheaders and all nonconference men’s and women’s single games is available at $150. Games are subject to change due to COVID impacts.

Foundation members and fans who purchased season tickets last year were given first priority to purchase season seats for the 2020-21 season. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 12, those interested in season tickets can contact the university ticket office via www.nsuspartanstickets.com. Seats are packaged in groups of two or four seats.

The university is not planning to sell single-game tickets to fans. Norfolk State students will be admitted with an ID and provided a reserved seat.

In order to accommodate fans who are unable to attend the games, NSU Athletics will offer a special basketball season video streaming package through its web site, www.nsuspartans.com. NSU will stream all men’s and women’s home games at the fan-friendly cost of $50 for the entire season.All games which are not chosen as part of the conference TV or digital broadcast lineup will be available to view at www.nsuspartans.com/watch. Single games can be purchased for $10 each, and MEAC doubleheaders can be purchased for $15 for the two games. The conference broadcast schedule has not yet been announced.
