Norfolk State women's basketball halts activities due to COVID-19

NORFOLK, Va. (NSUSpartans.com) – The Norfolk State women’s basketball program announced Friday that its next two games, at Wake Forest on Sunday, Dec. 13 and at home against Hampton on Tuesday, Dec. 15, will not be played as scheduled due to NSU’s COVID-19 protocols.

Additionally, the Thursday, Dec. 17 home game against the University of Richmond has been postponed due to testing and contact tracing results related to the UR program.

NSU’s next scheduled game is on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. against William & Mary at Echols Hall.

The health and safety of the Spartan community are of the utmost importance as NSU Athletics continues to follow university, local, state and national guidelines in response to the pandemic. NSU will continue to adhere to the evolving recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local and state health agencies.
