NORFOLK, Va. (ODUSports.com) - On Friday November 13, Governor Northam issued an amendment to "Executive Order 67 and Order of Public Health Emergency" temporarily limiting the number of people that can gather in entertainment venues, such as Chartway Arena, to 30% or 250 maximum capacity. This executive order has reduced the Chartway Arena capacity from 1,000 to a new reduced capacity of 250 effective at midnight on Sunday, November 15 until further notice.
Additional information about the executive order will be forthcoming for venue operators regarding who must be included in the 250 capacity, such as athletes, coaches, game management personnel and spectators.
