Virginia Beach's Chris Taylor, Dodgers agree on two-year extension

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers and Virginia Beach's Chris Taylor avoid arbitration by agreeing on a two-year, $13.4 million deal, as reported by MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Taylor, a Cox High School product, had been seeking $5.8 million in arbitration, and will receive $5.6 million in 2020 and $7.8 million in 2021.

Over the course of his six-year career, Taylor's batting .262 with 204 RBI and 51 home runs.

Taylor was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of the Univerity of Virginia.
