Wednesday's Virginia-Michigan State men's basketball game postponed due to COVID-19

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 18 Virginia’s ACC/B1G Challenge contest against No. 4 Michigan State on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at John Paul Jones Arena has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Cavaliers’ program, the school announced late Tuesday night.

The status of Virginia’s home contest vs. William & Mary on Sunday, Dec. 13 is to be determined.

Wednesday's match-up was scheduled to be a battle of the Houser brothers: Sam (Virginia) and Joey (Michigan State). The Cavaliers are 0-5 all-time vs. Michigan State in the series that dates back to the 1946-47 season.
