17-year-old victim suffering from life-threatening injuries after being shot in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. - Police are trying to identify the suspect(s) in connection with a shooting that took place on June 14.

Around 3:31 a.m., officials received a call in reference to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. Police say that the victim, a 17-year-old male, was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Reports say that the teen was in the area of Pembroke Avenue and Parrish Street when the shooting happened. The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation, and there is no suspect information to disseminate at this time.
