Suspect wanted after $1,000 worth of fishing equipment stolen from James City County marina

JAMES CITY Co., Va. - Police are investigating after they say a suspect stole $1,000 worth of fishing equipment from a local marina.

On May 30, around 4 a.m., police say an unknown man stole 11 fishing rods and reels and a cooler from a boat docked at the James City County Marina located at 2054 Jamestown Road.

The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, around 5’5” to 5’7” tall and possibly having facial hair. The suspect vehicle is described as a red Chevrolet Impala, possibly a 2008-2010 model.
