Virginia Zoo is offering 'Free Fridays' in February!

NORFOLK, Va. - This February the Virginia Zoo will be offering free admission on Fridays!

“Grab your coat and see what our animals are up to during the winter,” said Greg Bockheim, Executive Director of the Virginia Zoo. “You’ll find that some of them are more active in the cooler temps – like the red pandas and the cheetahs. It’s also a great opportunity to check out our new augmented reality tour, which is only available for a limited time,” Bockheim added.

For the extra cold days, slither indoors to the warm World of Reptiles, the Zoo’s newest addition which features a reptile nursery with adorable hatchlings, new animals on exhibit and everyone’s favorite, Shadie the crocodile. And if the reptilian residents aren’t your thing, meet the sloths and monkeys in the Conservatory.

Free Fridays in February are only valid on regular Zoo admission. Not applicable to field trips, school programs, events or any other discounts or promotions. Goat Yard and Australia Walkabout are closed for the season. The Zoo is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
