Winter is still a few weeks away, but don’t tell that to mother nature. Some parts of our area saw some snowflakes today. And we are all going to feel very winter-like tomorrow morning.

The rain and snow will be moving out this evening, skies will be clearing, temperatures will be dropping and the winds will be increasing. Most of us will wake up with temperatures near freezing on Tuesday morning but a gusty northwest wind will make it feel more like the 20s. In fact, a few inland spots may even drop into the teens for feels like temperatures.

Expect plenty of sunshine as we head through the day on Tuesday but it will be quite windy. Expect high temperatures only in the mid-to-upper 40s.

The winds will die down on Wednesday and sunshine will help the mercury climb to near 50°.

The warming trend continues on Thursday and Friday, with a high of 57 on Thursday and 62 on Friday with plenty of sunshine.

The weekend is looking warm and wet. An approaching storm system promises showers and possibly even thunderstorms. The timing for the rain is still a big question mark. But it does look like we will have at least a chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday.
