First Warning Forecast:
A very soggy stretch ahead...

Scattered showers and storms with heavy rain possible will continue to push through our area overnight into early Friday morning as a cold front moves in.

That cold front will stall out along our coast, keeping us in an unsettled weather pattern for several days. Expect more scattered showers and storms on Friday, especially before Noon. Wet weather will linger longest across eastern North Carolina. High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler, in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Highs will return to the upper 70s and low 80s this weekend. Saturday will feature a slight chance of rain while the highest chance of rain this weekend will be Sunday with widespread showers and storms possible. Rain chances will continue for at least the first half of next week. We should start to break out of this soggy stretch for the second half of next week.
