Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

After a foggy morning, we will see a nice mix of sun and clouds this afternoon. Today will be the warmest day of the week with highs near 80. Temperatures will return to the 60s tonight with partly cloudy skies. Fog will likely redevelop overnight to Thursday morning.

Expect a nice mix of sun and clouds for the end of the work week. Highs will drop to the upper 70s on Thursday and the mid 70s on Friday.

We are tracking a cold front this weekend. Most of Saturday will be dry but showers will move in Saturday night and continue for Sunday. Temperatures will return to the mid 70s on Saturday, then drop to near 70 on Sunday.

Tropical Update

Hurricane Epsilon is centered about 405 miles ESE of Bermuda and moving WNW at 12 mph. A turn toward the northwest is expected tonight, followed by a turn toward the north by Thursday night. On the forecast track, the center of Epsilon is forecast to make its closest approach to Bermuda Thursday afternoon or evening.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 90 mph with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is possible today, followed by little change in strength into the weekend.
