A hot and humid weekend… Warming nicely across the area this Friday afternoon with highs near 90!

90s this weekend with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s both Saturday and Sunday as humidity ramps up. We'll continue to carve out more sunshine Saturday. However, an approaching system will bring scattered showers and storms for Sunday afternoon to evening. Some storms could be strong to severe.

Unsettled weather much of next as the front remains stationary... Plan for ongoing shower and storm chances with highs limited to the mid/upper 80s.
