First Warning Forecast

Warmer air is just around the corner...

Sunday begins with clear skies, shallow frost and sub-freezing temperatures. Expect highs near 49 and partly sunny with southeast winds this afternoon. The weaker of two cold fronts this week will sweep through Monday afternoon with little fanfare. Bottom line, several dry days until our next best rain chances on Thursday with higher chances into Friday morning.

A storm system is on track to bring a few rain showers Thursday afternoon. The timeline may change slightly for the steadiest rainfall, but the system is likely to have an impact on your New Year's Eve plans as the rain coverage expands by midnight. Scattered showers likely on the first day of the 2021. Meanwhile, highs in the 60s for both Thursday and Friday before cooling throughout the day Friday.

Dry and colder for the first weekend of the new year.
