Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Cooler today, then a big warm up… Most of us will wake up to temperatures in the 40s this morning, about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday morning. Highs will only reach the mid 60s today, about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year. We will see a mix of mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies today with lighter winds.

Highs will return to the upper 60s on Wednesday but a big warm up moves in for the second half of the week. Highs will climb to the mid 70s on Thursday and into the 80s for Friday and the weekend.

We are watching a small chance for showers this weekend as a string of fronts slides by just to our north. As of now, most of the rain will stay near northern Virginia and Maryland and we will remain on the warm side of the fronts.

Today: Mostly Sunny to Partly Cloudy, Cooler. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds: NW/W 5-10

Tonight: A Few Clouds. Lows in the upper 40s. Winds: W 5-10

Tomorrow: A Few Clouds. Highs in the upper 60s. Winds: N/E 5-10
