First Warning Forecast

A sunny Sunday before multiple storm systems this week...

Bright blue skies and cold temperatures again today, but not as windy today with highs near 44. Clouds will increase overnight into Monday, which will keep temperatures from falling too low by Monday morning. Expect scattered showers by midday Monday through the afternoon and evening. The system will slowly drag across the region with scattered rain into Tuesday morning. An inch of rainfall is possible with isolated higher amounts.

Tuesday afternoon looks to be a comfortable day after the rain clears out... It'll give us a break until the next system arrives Thursday. Rain is possible late Wednesday into Thursday with the chances for wintry mix and snow early. There's still a window for a transition to snow on Thursday. It's too early to determine the length of time it could snow and who gets what in terms of accumulation. Models are in agreement for wintry mix and snow, but the timing remains inconsistent.

Right now, the late week event is expected to occur on Thursday then drier and much colder Friday.
