Summer-like heat and storms…
Highs will return to the low 90s today, about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. We will see a nice mix of sun and clouds through the day with scattered showers and storms popping up late this afternoon to early evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds and heavy downpours.
Storm chances end overnight as clouds slowly increase from the west. Overnight lows will once again be mild and muggy in the low 70s.
Our summer-like and unsettled stretch will continue for Friday and Saturday. Expect highs in the upper 80s with more humidity. We will see scattered showers and storms both days although our severe weather threat will be lower.
Sunday looks like the best pick of the weekend. We will see mostly sunny skies and highs will cool to the upper 70s with lower humidity.
