KJ's First Warning Forecast
Warmer with more chances for wet weather even a few thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. A couple of storms may become strong to severe with heavy rain and isolated high gusts. Outside of any shower or storm, conditions will remain breezy due to a east/southeast wind of 10-20 mph. Meanwhile, it's about 10-15 degrees warmer this afternoon compared to the previous two days this week.
This week is on track to end with a continuation of shower and storm activity. Be sure to plan accordingly for those outdoor plans even with reduced chances, there's still going to be some disruptive weather around into the weekend.
Rising heat and humidity will return to jump start the official beginning of summer 2020! Temperatures will steadily climb each day this week and throughout the weekend with much hotter and mainly dry days early next week.
