First Warning Forecast

Today is a transitional weather day ahead of several days with rain, snow and ice impacts. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 40s today and isolated rain tonight.

Scattered rain Thursday with widespread rain and even wintry mix possible later at night. Rain and wintry mix will continue for Friday morning then tapering off by midday. The best chance for snow accumulation will be on the Eastern Shore, Middle Peninsula, and northern Peninsula. Freezing rain could be an issue for inland Virginia/North Carolina for areas near Interstate 95.

Another round of rain will move in on Saturday. Snow could mix in Saturday night to Sunday morning, but most of the snow will be to our north and west. It will be windy on Saturday with NE winds at 10 to 20 and higher gusts. Highs temperatures will stay in the low 40s this weekend.
