Meteorologist Maddie Kirker’s First Warning Forecast

Skies will remain clear tonight and winds will gradually relax but it is going to be cold again. Lows will drop to the mid 20s overnight. We have a very real threat for refreeze tonight into Saturday morning.

The cold air will not last long, we will warm into the 50s this weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 50s on Saturday. A few clouds will mix in on Sunday with highs climbing to the mid and upper 50s. With sunshine and temperatures that warm, snow melting should be a quick process.

Warm air sticks around for early next week but rain makes a comeback. Highs will linger in the 50s and 60s with rain chances later Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Tonight: Clear Skies, Cold. Lows in the mid 20s. Winds: N 5-15

Saturday: Mostly Sunny, Warmer. Highs in the low 50s. Winds: NW/SW 5-10

Sunday: Mostly Sunny, Even Warmer. Highs in the uper 50s. Winds: S 5-10
