KJ's First Warning Forecast

A beautiful end to the weekend with several changes coming for the week ahead.

Partly sunny skies on Sunday with highs in the mid and upper 80s. There's a chance for showers and storms during the afternoon even though most areas will remain dry... The area is trending drier as the unsettled weather pattern breaks down. The best window for any disruptive weather or opportunity for rain will be between noon and 4 p.m. Severe weather is not expected, but a heavy shower may occur.

Monday is looking like the driest day of the week with plenty of sunshine as high pressure builds over the area. Just keeping a slight chance of a storm. Expect highs in the low 90s.

A warmer midweek - highs will soar to the low 90s on Tuesday and even hotter by Wednesday, which is on track to be the hottest day of the week. Storms will be possible once again, especially during the afternoon hours Wednesday. A better chance for storms on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will top off in the upper 80s to near 90.
