Sunny today, showers and storms return tomorrow… Today will be sunny and cooler. Highs will only reach the mid 60s, about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Expect sunshine all day with winds relaxing.
Rain returns for Thursday and Friday. Clouds will build in early Thursday morning and most of the day will be cloudy. Showers will move in Thursday afternoon with widespread rain and storms Thursday night. A strong to severe storm is possible, mainly in North Carolina. Rain will continue into Friday morning and skies will clear Friday afternoon. Highs will linger near normal, in the upper 60s to low 70s for Thursday and Friday.
More showers and storms will move in for the weekend. Highs will remain in the 60s and 70s.
