Rain to snow is likely overnight into Thursday morning. It's one of two chances with the second chance for snow later this weekend on Sunday.

Right now, partly sunny with highs in the mid/upper 40s today. Tonight, expect scattered rain to change over to wintry mix around midnight then snow showers during the predawn hours. A trace to 1" is possible for the peninsulas and coastal areas. 1-2 inches with isolated higher amounts on the south side and parts of North Carolina. Use caution and be mindful of icy roads that may not be treated.
