Meteorologist Maddie Kirker's First Warning Forecast:

More rain, wind, and a flood threat… Expect spotty light showers this afternoon and this evening. Winds will continue to crank today, NE at 15 to 25 with gusts to near 35 mph. The strong and persistent NE winds will cause tidal flooding. Water levels will reach “moderate” to near “major” flooding levels during high tides again tonight.

Clouds and showers continue for Thursday. Winds will shift to the east and back down slightly, 10 to 20 with gusts to 30 mph. Expect some “minor” level tidal flooding tomorrow. Highs will warm to the upper 60s, still below normal.

Our chances for rain and storms will increase on Friday as an area of low pressure tracks across the region. Winds will continue to relax, and tide levels will continue to drop. Highs will warm to the upper 70s Friday.
